Juan Cervantes, Sr. 76 of Immokalee, Florida passed away August 23, 2011 at Avow Hospice, Naples.

Mr. Cervantes was born in Brownsville, Texas March 30, 1935 to father Felipe Cervantes and mother Guadalupe Aguilar Cervantes.

He worked most of his life as a tractor driver in the orange groves, and worked many years for the Silver Strand company. Besides the love of his family he really loved fishing. All kinds of fishing; salt water, and fresh water.

He is survived by sons; Juan Cervantes, Jr., Jessie Cervantes and Johnny Cervantes, one daughter; Bertha Montez. Fourteen grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, girlfriend of over 22 years Maria (Marion) Hernandez. Brother Ramon Cervantes (Maggie). He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2011 begining at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am also at the church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
