Ana Maria Carranza(Olvera) passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 27, 2025 in Immokalee, FL. Ana was born on August 22, 1947 in Brownsville, TX, firstborn to Jose and Maria Olvera.

She was married to Alfredo Carranza until his death in August 2020. She loved to garden and cook, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her two children, Martha(Arturo) and Martin(Florestelia), six grandchildren, Jessica(Salvador), Adriana, Amanda(Jimmy), Jose, Arturo Jr, and Javier, 5 great-grand children, NoahGary, Gianna, Leyland, Jimmy, and Emiliano. Her sisters, Maria, Emilia, Rosa, and Aurora, her brother Pablo and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Arturo, Rafael, and Oscar, her god-daughter Minerva, and brother-in-law Miguel.

Her viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Brister Funeral Home from 6-8pm. The mass will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 10am.
