Josie Ayala, 80, went home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2025,
surrounded by the love and prayers of her family.
Josie was a devoted and loving mother to her children: Eddie Ayala and
Tammy Ayala, Armando Ayala and Kathy Ayala, Alberto Ayala, Isabel
Rolle and William Rolle, and Arivel Preciado and Manuel Preciado.
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved children Horacio Ayala,
Maribel Trevino, and Arturo Ayala.
Josie's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud Wella to Ryan,
Andrea, Armando, Victoria, Albert, Nick, Horace, Jasmine, AJ, Salvador,
Alexis, Ishmael, Ezequiel, William, Kayla, and Miguel, and a loving
great-Wella to 12 beautiful great-grandchildren.
For 42 years, Josie served the students and staff of Immokalee High
School, touching thousands of lives with her kindness, patience, and
unwavering commitment. She was known for her warm smile, gentle
spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cared for.
Faith was the foundation of Josie's life. She was deeply involved in her
church, living her faith through kindness, generosity, and service to
others.
Josie enjoyed the simple joys of life: time with her family, church, and
crocheting gifts made with love. Her hands were never still, and her heart
was never closed.
She will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, courage, and
unconditional love. Though her physical presence will be deeply missed,
her love lives on in the hearts of her family and all blessed to know her.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to IHS in Josie
Ayala's name for a scholarship fund.
