Lydia Cortinas Adame, 89 of Immokalee, FL passed away peacefully in Lehigh Acres,
FL on January 20th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.  She was born in Norias,
Texas on October 6,1936 to Pedro & Maria H. Cortinas.
Lydia devoted her time to the Church and her family.  She loved cooking whether it was
a big meal or just having coffee and sweet treats with her family and friends.  She loved
dancing with her father as a kid and loved teasing her mom when she would get in
trouble. She has always been a fighter since she was a little girl, defending her sisters
from harm.  She worked hard to support her family and enjoyed taking care of her
grandchildren when she wasn't working. Oh and everyone feared "La Chancla".
She is survived by her children, Leonardo Adame Jr., Reynaldo (Oralia) Adame,
Enrique (Becky) Adame, Frank (Betty) Adame, Amenda Adame-Torres.  Lydia was a
loving Grandmother to 8 grandchildren (Stephanie, Nikki, Lisa, Abigail, Tony, Aliya,
Jerry Jr. & Noah) and 4 Great Grandchildren (Nya, Nyomi & 2 on the way).
She was a loving sister to Dolores Lopez, Gloria Salas, Tile Rios, & Nora Guzman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro & Maria H. Cortinas.
Husband, Leonardo Adame Sr.; Brothers, Leonel Cortinas & George Cortinas;
Sister, Lucia Carrion.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 6-8pm at Brister Funeral Home
in Immokalee, FL. Rosary/Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at
10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Immokalee, FL.
Burial will follow at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park in Ft. Myers, FL.
