Octaviano Castro, 84, of Immokalee, Florida passed away following a long illness on August 4, 2026, in Naples, Florida. He was born May 8, 1942, in Mexico to Macario Castro and was known to enjoy fishing, providing rides to friends, lottery tickets and picking up cans. Mr. Castro was a local field supervisor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind to remember the good times, two sons, Octaviano Castro Jr., Daniel Castro, six daughters, Delores DeLeon, Anna Aguillon, Noemi Trujillo, Adelia Castro, Juana Onley and Rebecca Trejo along with thirty-nine grandchildren and forty great grandchildren. His wife Mary Castro preceded him in June 2020.

There will be a viewing at Reach Assembly Church on Tuesday August 11, 2026, from 6-8 pm and a funeral service the next day at the church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
