Robert "Bob" J. Foster Sr., 88, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on November 22, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1937, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bob began his career working for Cincinnati Bell, where he met his wife, Georgia, whom he was married to for 66 years. He later became the owner of Foster Hearing Aids in Cincinnati, Ohio, proudly serving his community. In 1986, Bob and his family moved to Florida, where he opened and operated his own business, Bob's Top End, specializing in screen printing and embroidery. He also served his country honorably in The Army National Guard of Ohio. Bob loved sports from attending his kids sports games growing up to cheering on the Florida Ever blades with his wife as season ticket holders for 11 years and contributing his time at the Miracle minor league baseball games. Bob was also known for his love of taking things apart, figuring out how they worked, and putting them back together. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ruth Foster; his stepmother, Ree Foster; his brother, Stanley Foster; his sister, Mureen Moore; and his son, Robert J. Foster Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Foster; his children, Tara Davenport (Greg), Doug Foster, and Suzanne Vareha (Jim); and his grandchildren, Ian Foster, Taylor Davenport, Trevor Davenport, Zachery Davenport, and Brady Vareha. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 20, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, located at 860 Banyan Blvd., Naples, FL 34102. Following the service, all are invited to join together for a light lunch and gathering in honor of Bob's life.
