Adolfo G. Garcia, Sr.'s Obituary
Adolfo G. Garcia, Sr., was called to Heaven suddenly on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
Adolfo was also known to all as "Pelu" . He was born in Fort Myers, Florida on August 18, 1964 to parents Perfecto and SanJuana Garcia.
He worked many many years, especially during the summer, for Manuel Padella, Inc. working the watermelon seasons. However he enjoyed it so much it didn't feel like a job. His main job that he really loved the most was working private security. He handled many big named important people.
Pelu enjoyed all types of music, his favorite was classic rock. He liked to dance, watch football games especially his favorite football team, The Miami Dolphins. Everyone will always remember him as a happy person, and that he loved his family the most of everything.
He is survived by his loving wife with 30 years together; Patricia F. Garcia. Sons: Adolfo Garcia, Jr. (Jessica) and Rodolfo Garcia (Abigail). Daughters: Amy Flores (Telly) and Miranda Garcia. Seven grandchildren with another on the way. He also helped raise two other children: M & M and Kool-Aid. He leaves behind also four brothers and four sisters along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws and excended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Perfecto Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, March 4, 2016 starting at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
