Andrea was born in Lares, Puerto Rico to father Jose Arce and mother Maria Arroyo Arce.

Mrs. Cordero is survived by son Manuel Cordero, Jr., daughters Elsa Cordero and Emily Echevarria, one grandchild and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Manuel Cordero, Sr. in 1987.

A viewing will be held Wednesday October 2, 2013 at Brister Funeral Home 6-8pm with a graveside service at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens on Thursday October 3 at 10am.
