Angel Luis Aponte 92 year old of Buffalo, New York passed away December 14, 2021.

Mr. Aponte was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to father Morgaro Aponte and mother Odesta Santiago on April 29, 1929. Throughout his life he worked different types of occupations but the most recent before his retirement, he was the custodian at a public high school.

Angel is survived by his loving family including his 3 sons; Carlos Aponte, Angelo Aponte, and Edwin Aponte, 5 daughters; Lydia Luciano, Sara Bermudez, Rosa Fernandez, Carmen Pasqual and Diana Aponte, 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, son and daughter-in-laws and extended family.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, 221 North 3rd Street from 6:00-7:45 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Graveside -Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow.
