Ann Louise Herrin Salinas, born January 30, 1964, went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2023. Ann was preceded in death by her parents Harold Lloyd Herrin and Emily Olia Herrin, sister Sherry Dampier, and brothers Michael and Kenny Herrin. Ann is survived by her husband Santos Salinas, daughter Hillary Salinas, son Andrew Salinas, sisters Marie Redmond and Syble Gomez (Johnny), brothers Harold Herrin (Joanne) and Randy Herrin (Susan), her mother-in-law Maria Salinas, her sisters-in-law Elida Sapere (Steve), Lisa Gasperson (Donald), brother-in-law Phillip Salinas (Maria) and the rest of her beloved family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.

Ann was a born-again believer in Christ; she loved to pass out Bible tracts and booklets to anyone she would meet. She loved to watch all her favorite cooking shows and would talk to you like she knew them. She always took great pride in being a homemaker and loved to decorate her home, both inside and outside. Mixed with the warmth of her personality, it felt like you had walked into an issue of Southern Living magazine. Ann was especially known for her kind heart and truly had a carer's soul. This care would shine onto everyone she came across but was especially showered over her husband and children, thinking of them in every action she took. In the last couple of years of her life, this care was extended to a small cat she rescued with her husband, named Chachi, that brought her as much joy as she gave love.

Ann is going to be greatly missed. She was a wonderful, bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. What is written here is but a drop in the ocean and could never sum up such a great person. However, we take solace in knowing that we will see her again and that where she has gone, she's surrounded by old friends and family.

There will be a viewing at Brister Funeral Home Chapel on Friday July 14, 2023, from 6-8pm. The funeral service will be at the Felda Baptist church at 10am on Saturday July 15, 2023. Burial will be at the Baptist cemetery, Immokalee on Saturday following the service.
