Annie L. Toombs 93 years young left these early bounds to be with the Lord September 4, 2018.

Annie was known to her loving family and friends as "Sister" or "Aunt Sister".  She was born in Early County, Georgia on June 6, 1925 and was the eldest daughter to Willie J. and Minnie Lee Sparks.

Sister enjoyed quilting, and was famous for her cakes. Annie was a devoted and faithful follower of Christ. When she lived in Georgia she always attended and church was her sanctuary. As soon as relocating to Immokalee, she became a member of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church where she attended worship service until she was physically incapable of attending anymore.

She is survived by two sisters: Doris Toombs and Herrietta Copper (Ulic) along many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents along with her husband: Johnny Lee Toombs and four siblings: Willie J. Sparks Jr., "Bud", Mary Ethel Collins, Beaulah Cox and Minnie Sparks "Lil Sister".

There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Saint Johns Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Frank Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
