Arturo Salazar Manzano, Sr. 56 years old of Immokalee, left these earthly bounds July 30, 2018.

Known to all as Arthur, he was born in Texas to father Gumecindo Manzano and mother Jesusa Salazar Manzano November 19, 1961.  He was one of 17 children to his parents, and was known to be these best at getting everyone together whenever it was either necessary or just to have the family around to talk and visit.

Arthur mostly worked as a crew leader in the agriculture business, recently he was working as a heavy equipment operator at the gravel pits.  He watched wresting  on t.v. but the thing he loved the best was being with his family and fishing.

Arturo is survived by 3 daughters: Becky Rivera (Jesus), Melinda Mendoza (Edward) and Melissa Cook (Mathew), one son: Arthur Manzano, Jr.
13 grandchildren along with 8 siblings: Olivia Gonzalez, Aurora DelaRosa, Omega Valdez, Anita Rios, Tenci Alexander, Homer Manzano, Ramiro Manzano and Adolfo Manzano.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Immokalee from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
