Heaven received another Angel when Aurora Hernandez answered the Lord's call August 11, 2021.

Aurora 76, her husband and some of her family live in Immokalee for many years, but she was in Texas visiting other family members when she became ill.  She was born in Matamoras, Mexico to father Felipe Guadiana Perez and mother Maria Villareal Guadiana on November 23, 1944. She met and married her beloved husband Saturnino Hernandez in Mexico before migrating to United States. They were married for 63 years! She loved being a mother and homemaker. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Immokalee and did a lot of volunteering for and at the church since becoming a member. She also loved to gardening and was a collector of dolls. Thru the years Aurora not only took care of her own children but she was blessed to be able to help other families with child care for them. Many people will mourn her passing, including her devoted husband: Saturnino Hernandez, 2 sons: Jose Luis Hernandez and Felipe Hernandez 6 daughters: Maria Magdalena Galan, Elsa Castro, Juana Maria Maldonado, Blanca L. Zavala, Norma Rodriguez and Veronica Jacobo along with 28 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchiildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Mr. Saturnino Hernandez passed away August 25, 2021.  There will be calling hours for BOTH Aurora and Saturnino on Thursday, September 2 from 6:00-7:45pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel.  A Funeral Mass for both will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial for both will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.

Ella también amaba la jardinería y era coleccionista de muñecas. A través de los años, Aurora no solo cuidó de sus propios hijos, sino que tuvo la bendición de poder ayudar a otras familias con el cuidado de sus hijos.

Muchas personas lamentarán su fallecimiento, incluyendo a su devoto esposo: Saturnino Hernández, 2 hijos: José Luis Hernández y Felipe Hernández 6 hijas: María Magdalena Galán, Elsa Castro, Juana María Maldonado, Blanca L. Zavala, Norma Rodríguez y Verónica Jacobo junto con 28 nietos, 34 bisnietos y 3 tataranietos y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y familiares y amigos.

El Sr. Saturnino Hernández falleció el 25 de agosto de 2021.  Habrá horario de llamadas para AURORA y Saturnino el jueves 2 de septiembre de 6:00 a 7:45 pm en Brister Funeral Home Chapel.  Una misa fúnebre para ambos se llevará a cabo el viernes 3 de septiembre de 2021 en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe a partir de las 10:00 am. El entierro de ambos seguirá en Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
