Aurora Herrera, 98, died peacefully at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida on November 25, 2022. She was born in San Benito, Texas on July 6, 1924, to Parents Pioquinto Ledezma and Juana Alaniz Ledezma. She was a lover of crossword puzzles and word searches. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves behind to remember her a son; Alonso Herrera, four daughters; Margarita Herrera, Rosario Herrera, Oralia Herrera and Malena Gutierrez, seventeen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. A daughter: Estella Herrera predeceased her.

A viewing will be held at the Brister Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday December 7 from 6-8pm and a service will be held Thursday December 8th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
