Mr. Salazar was born in Brownsville, Texas to father Pete Salazar, Sr. and mother Guadalpe Martinez Salazar, January 20, 1964.

Baltazar was knicknamed and was known as "Walter". He enjoyed horse and dog racing. His favorite color was blue and he enjoyed mazz music.

Walter is survived by wife Teresa Salazar, one son: Baltazar Salazar, Jr "Walter"(Crystal Lee).; one daughter: Sandy Salazar (Ezequel Mendez) and one grandchild: Walter Lee Salazar. One sister: Minerva Christma s(Bob Chriseman), and two brothers: Tony Salazar and Pete Salazar (Linda Salazar).

Viewing will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 PM.  The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012  at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
