Heaven received another Angel when Barbara Jean Platt answered God's call October 19, 2020.

Mrs. Platt was born November 18, 1936 in Melbourne, Florida to father Arthur Bunce and mother Emma VanLengen Bunce. Barbara enjoyed all types of crafts, including sewing and crocheting for family and friends. She enjoyed raising her large family with her loving husband Johnny, until his passing in 2017. Barbara was a member of Bethel Holiness Church, Labelle. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Platt is survived by her 3 daughters: Cheryl Harrison (DeWayne), Lavena Perkinson (Tim) and Patty Platt (Brad), 3 sons: John Platt (Tammy), Mike Platt an Reese Platt (Lisa) along with 11 grandchildren an 8 great-grandchildren.  She is pre deceased by her husband Johnny Platt, and 4 sons: Arthur Platt, Robert Platt, Dennis Platt and Paul Platt.

Visitation and the Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Holiness Church, 1153 Cornelia Drive, LaBelle, FL 33935 on Tuesday October 27, 2020 starting at 10am with Pastor Howell officiating. Burial will follow at the Venus cemetery.
