Benito Mungia, Jr., 62 of Immokalee, answered God's call to Heaven December 8, 2019.

"Jr" was born in Robstown, Texas to father Benito Mungia, Sr. and mother Emma Gonzalez Mungia May 30, 1957. He liked being a tractor driver in the agriculture fields. His favorite color was blue and he enjoyed watching the old country westerns tv shows: Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and The Lone Ranger to name a few.

Jr. is survived by 2 brothers: Ricardo Mungia and David Mungia, 2 sisters; Juana Rodriguez and Alicia Mungia along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Guadalupe Mungia, and 1 sister: Elvira Mungia along with both his mother and father.

Benito will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held on a date to be determined.
