Betty Ann Collins 87 years old of Lehigh Acres formerly of Immokalee,  was called to Heaven January 3, 2020.

Mrs. Collins was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 1, 1932 to father George Abowd and mother Mary Baker Abowd. She owned her own nursey and enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Dora Browning (Danny), Tammy Clemens (Clifford) and Leona Collins, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. 1 sister: Rheta Cunningham. Betty Ann is preceded in death by her mother and father, 1 son: Carroll Lee Collins and 1 daughter: Twyla "Linny" Collins.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, 221 North 3rd Street, Immokalee 34143 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Browning officiating. Burial will follow at The Baptist Cemetery, Immokalee, FL.
