Broward Franklin Stanford, Sr.  70 years old from Immokalee, Florida  passed away unexpectedly August 4, 2014.

Mr. Stanford was born in Panama City, Florida to father Homer Franklin Stanford and mother Gertrude Maria Dykes Stanford, on December 14, 1943.

Broward was known as "B F" to all his friends.   He married the love of his life  Sue G. Bravaldo Stanford  on December 6, 1965 in Immokalee. He was a well known farmer in and around Immokalee as well as being known to love fishing.  B F  enjoyed watching western movies and all types of farming--it was not just a job but a way of life he loved.

He will be greatly missed by many people, including his wife Sue Stanford, (3) daughters; Shirley Stanford, Melinda Stanford (Leslie), and Johnnie Kaye Stanford, (2) sons; Frank Stanford, Jr.(Abby) and John Stanford (Amy).
Ten grandchildren and Six  great grandchildren. Two brothers; Michael and Wayne Stanford, two sisters; Jackie Owenby and Pam Forehand along with many nieces nephews extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thurday, August 7th at First United Methodist Church, Immokalee beginning at 11:00 am.  The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will then be at The Baptist Cemetery.
