Carlos Javier Cervantes Sanchez 64 of Immokalee passed away unexpectedly July 11, 2019.

Carlos was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico on September 7, 1954 to father Juan Cervantes and mother Santos Sanchez Cervantes. He married his devoted wife Guadalupe Esquivel and were together over 46 years. He enjoyed being outside, working in his flower garden and watching old western tv shows and movies.

He is survived by his children; Alma Delia Lucio, Adalberto Javier Cervantes, Carlos Javier Cervantes, Jr., Santos Cervantes and Noemi Cervantes, Siblings: Guadalupe Cervantes, Esmeralda Lopez, Javier Cervantes and Maria Rita Carreno and his mother Santos Sanchez Cervantes, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother: Juan Angel Cervantes, his father and 2 brother-in-laws.

Visitation will be held Tuesday night, July 16 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:30 p.m. the Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
