Carol Hamman, 74, left to be with the Lord on October 6,2016 in Immokalee, Florida after a long illness. She was born May 26, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo to mother and long time local resident Zola G. Cooley Pratt and father Carroll Eugene Pratt. Ms. Hamman had devoted her working career to help special education children in the public school system.

She leaves behind to miss her a daughter; Frances Hamman-Samba, son; Ronald R. Hamman, three grandchildren; Elizabeth Hamman, Samuel Hamman and Amelia Hamman-Samba, and a brother; Harrold "Skip" Pratt.
Ms. Hamman was preceded by mother Zola and father Carroll.

There will be a viewing and service on Sunday October 9,2016 at the Immokalee Seminole Baptist Church starting at 2pm with Pastor Matt Rios presiding. Ms. Hamman will be buried with her husband in Saint Louis, Mo.
