Carolina Cortez, 78, of LaBelle, Florida passed away July 16, 2024, at Hope Hospice Lehigh Acres, following a brief illness. She had her family by her side. She was born in Mission, Texas on July 1, 1946, to Armando Resendez and Mercedes Alvarez Resendez. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family.

She leaves behind to remember her a husband, Guadalupe Cortez and five children, Ruben Cortez, Samuel Cortez, Saul Cortez, Guadalupe Cortez Jr., Hector Cortez and fourteen grandchildren.

She will have a viewing on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8 pm before cremation.
