Carolina Ruth Ocanas' Obituary
Carolina R. Ocanas 79 of Immokalee, was called to Heaven April 19, 2014 with her family around her.
Mrs. Ocanas was born in Reynosa, Mexico November 28, 1934 to father Margarito Rodriguez and mother Elisa Fonseca Rodriguez.
Carolina loved being a homemaker for her large family. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and she enjoyed cooking and all kinds of music, but most of all she loved her children, and grandchildren and spending time with them all.
She is survived by her loving family, including: (3) sons; Jose (Norma), Jorge (Sylvia) and Juan (Anna) Ocanas, (2) daughters; Maria Santos Vinton (Lupe) and Maria G. Garcia (Juan), Seventeen (17), grandchildren and Twenty-six (26) along with one (1) great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews along with extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday 4/24/2014 from 6-8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
