Catalina Chavez Bustamante 63 of Immokalee passed away unexpectedly in Naples Florida on January 6, 2022.

Catalina was born in Pisaflores, Hildalgo, Mexico on November 27, 1958 to father Mateo Chavez and mother Juana Nieto and married her beloved husband Cipriano Bustamante Tapia before immigrating to America for a better life for themselves and the future family they wished to have. Catalina was a hard worker. Her husband was disabled in 2012 and she worked even harder to take care of the family. She did everything for her daughter and family. She enjoyed going to the beach and taking care of her nails and doing her hair.

Catalina is survived by her loving husband Cipriano Bustamante Tapia, daughter Carolina Bustamante and son Filimon Estrada.

Calling hours are Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel 221 North 3rd Street, Immokalee FL from 6:00-7:45 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the same chapel beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
