Celia Perez de Cardenas 75, was called to the Lord August 14, 2018 at her home in Immokalee surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Cardenas was born in Matamoras, Mexico to father Leonides Perez Ramirez and mother Guadalupe Ochoa Lopez Ramirez April 2, 1943. She married the love of her life, Hermelindo and loved being with her children, grandchildren, siblings and friends. She enjoyed crochet, especially things for her family.


Celia is survived by her husband: Hermelindo Cardenas, 1 daughter: Rosa Tovar, 3 sons: Martin Cardenas, Pedro Francisco Cardenas and Juan G. Cardenas, 6 sisters: Magdelena Espino, Gloria Perez Cisneros, Santos Perez Rivera, Paula Perez, Angelica Solis and Isabel Cardenas, one brother; Pedro Perez, 14 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.


Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at First Baptist Church, corner of Lake Trafford Rd and S.R. 29,  from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
