Domitilia Saenz 81 of Immokalee, FL passed away April 30, 2015 with her family surrounding her.
Mrs. Saenz was born in San Fernando, Coahuila, Mexico on January 27, 1934 to father Florencio Escando and mother Matilde Irachta Escando.
Domitilia enjoyed sewing quilts and making baby clothes, gardening and her favorite flower was the gardenia, favorite color was purple.
She is survived by five daughters: Maria Ochoa (Frank, Jr.), Noella Perez, Alicia Flores, Elvia Nerio and Silvia Carrillo; three sons: Joel Nerio (Nancy), Oscar Nerio and Uvaldo Nerio, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and one brother: Gumecindo Escando. She was preceded in death by daughter Griselda Nerio, grandson Julian Abrigo and niece Carolina Elicondo.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held graveside at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
