Domitilo C. Alvarado, Sr., 74 of Immokalee, Florida passed away after a brief illness, with his family around him.

Mr. Alvarado was born in Mexico on May 12, 1939 to father Felipe Alvarado and Maria Castillo Alvarado. He met his beloved wife Natalia Munoz in Immokalee and married her in Miami. They moved back to Immokalee and were married for over 54 years.

Domitilo loved doing all kinds of yardwork. He did woodworking and also did metalwork. He was very intelligent and was creative in making puzzle-like objects that were very meticulous, without any instructions.

He is survived by his wife Natalia Alvarado, daughter Noemi Alvarado, five sons; Domitilo C. Avarado, Jr.(Edi), Roy Alvarado (Marylou), Fernando Alvarado (Olivia), Emerito Alvarado, and Noe Alvarado (Maria), twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. Two sisters; Caro Gutierrez and Mela DelaRosa,
four brothers; Mino, Felix, Noel and Gonzalo Alvarado. Domitilo was preceded in death in 2011 by his grandson Alfonso Alvarado.

Visitation will be held Monday May 20, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 4:30-6:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday May 21, 2013
also at the church, beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
