Dorothy Crawford 95 was called to Heaven on January 22, 2015 after a long illness.

Ms. Crawford was born in Venus, Florida May 26, 1919 to father Benjamin L. Cline and mother Etta Bell McDuffie Cline.

Dorothy will be remembered for many great things, including being outdoors and sitting on her front porch watching birds. Dorothy loved nature and weed-eating her yard. Before her husband passed, they worked as a team: he cut the grass and she did the weed eating. After his death, till she was 85 years young, she continued to work for a manicured lawn herself. Dorothy did alot of crocheting and made many blankets for each of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed inspirational and gospel music. Until the last few years she was still canning and cooking.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by three sons: James Hayes(Betty), Gerald Crawford(Charlotte) and Eugene Crawford(Nancy), Two daughters; Brenda Williams(Jackie)and Linda LeCount(Jerry), Thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at First United Methodist Church beginning at 10:00am. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
