Elida Garcia 89 of North Fort Myers, answered the Lords call and went to Heaven October 17, 2019.

Elida was born at Ohio Ranch, Cameron County, Texas to father Pedro Guerrero and mother Juanita Rodriguez July 21, 1930. She worked at home where she enjoyed raising her large family and later in life being with her grandchildren. She loved to cook, she was famous for tamale's! Elida also enjoyed working in the yard and always had flower gardens. "She took care of everyone".

Elida is survived by 1 son: Juan Garcia, 2 daughters: Delia Valdez and Ylda Rivera, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchilren, 1 sister:Elva Davila and 5 brothers: Antonio Martinez, Edwardo Guerrero, Daniel Martinez, Gilberto Martinez, and Juan Martinez. She was preceded in death by son David Garcia in March 2016.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 beginning at 10:00 am at Bethel Assembly of God with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
