Elois Woolfork Davis was called to Heaven June 30, 2016 after a long illness.
Elois was born October 2, 1957 in Naples, FL to parents Marie and Jewel, L. Woolfork, Sr. She moved with her family to Immokalee in 1974 from Copeland, FL. Elois graduated from Immokalee High School in 1975 and went on to pursue her career in education. She worked as a tutor for Collier County Public Schools until her retirement in 2005.
Elois loved to bake, enjoyed all types of music and dancing. Her favorite color was light blue, she enjoyed sewing and knitting and she loved family and friends to get together for gatherings for all kinds. Elois had a great sense of humor and was a happy person, she had a inner light. Most of all she loved her devoted husband, and children, grandchildren and family. Elois served her Faith as a Jehova Witness.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Woolfork, her mother-in-law Mary E. Davis, sisters; Nancy, Sharon and Karen; brothers; Jessie, Major, Jackie and Kelvin. Elois is survived by her loving husband Rodney Davis, her father Jewel L. Woolfork, Sr., two adopted sons; Dexter and Derrick Barrett. Step children; Rodney T. Davis, Temeika Cater, Eddie Purnell and Shannon Purnell. Grandchildren: Daylah, Raniah and Diondre. Brothers; Jewel L., Jr, Ronnie Ralph and Jerry. Sisters; Maeola, Diane and Jannie. Uncles and Aunts. Brother-in-laws: Charles, Arthur, Joseph, Reginald and Calton and sister-in-law Elma. Special Friends; Millie, Owen & Evon, Deacon Kenny, Felix, Buster, Ed Brown & Pee Wee. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
The Wake will be held on Friday, July 8 2016 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, 221 North 3rd Street, Immokalee, FL from 6-8 pm. The Memorial Service will be held at Kingdom Hall on Saturday, July 9, 2016 beginning at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow at 2:00 at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens
