Elvira R. Garcia 71 of Immokalee Florida went into the Lords open arms February 11, 2014.

Mrs. Garcia was born in El Acebuche, GTO,  Mexico on August 26, 1942 to father Nicomedes Rojas and mother Enedina Jimenez Rojas.

Elvira married her husband Juan D. Garcia, Sr. and started her family.  She will be rememered for many things, including her devotion to the Catholic Church, that she was a happy person, her love of singing all types of music, especilly christian.  Some of the hobbies she enjoyed were sewing, craftwork and puzzels, but her favorite thing was to be around her family.

She is survived by husband Juan D. Garcia, Sr., four daughters ; Carmen Fuentes, Rosa Perez, Janie Lopez and Norma Perales. Four sons; Candelario Garcia, Juan Garcia Jr., Ladislado Garcia and Rodolfo Garcia.  Twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren, brothers and sisters that live in Texas, Ohio and Las Vegas.  She will also be greatly missed by her large number of friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Sander's Hall at the Catholic Church in Immokalee  from 5-8 pm.  The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, February 14, 2014 beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
