Erlinda (Nina) Vasquez 74 of Fort Myers, formerly of Immokalee went into the Lords open arms October 21, 2019.

Nina was born in Hidalgo County, Texas on June 6, 1945 to father Juan Herrera and mother Leocadia Rubio. She worked with handicap people as a private caretaker which was very meaningful to her. Nina loved to keep everything clean and organized, inside and out of her house.  She wanted and loved to pull weeds, she always had flowers gardens she planted and took care of, her father was a preacher and she was a devoted Christian which she passed down to her children. Her favorite colors were black and white, and she loved doing needlepoint so much she would stay up late, even when her fingers were sore. Everyone enjoyed her beautiful smile with her dimples showing.

Erlinda is survived by three sons: Charlie Rosas, Andy Rosas and Eli Rosas, 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Juan Herrera (Elena) and her 2 chihuahua babies: Gigi and Guzmo. She was preceded in death by her son Francisco Rosas, March 2, 2019.

The family are asking for any donations for the funeral of Nina to be sent directly to Brister Funeral Home, P.O. Box 3177, Immokalee FL  34143.

Visitation will be held at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, November 1, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm with the Funeral Service also being held at the chapel beginning at 10:00 am on November 2, 2019 with son Eli officiating.
