Mr. Herrera was born November 4, 1957 in Alfus Oklahoma to parents Eugenio T. Herrera, Sr. and Maria Lemos Herrera. He is well known as he worked as a crew leader on many farms in and around Immokalee, and will be remembered for his love of all types of movies and making things, mostly out of wood.

Eugenio is survived by three daughters; Maribel Cano (Raul) Anna Herrera and Marianna Herrera, along with three grandchildren. Four brothers; Blas Lemos, Ernulfo Herrera, Edward Herrera and Noel Herrera. Two sisters; Maria Herrera and Senaida Herrera along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 4-6 pm .( NOTE THIS WAS CHANGED FROM ORIGINALLY  6-8PM ) A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2011 beginning at 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
