Feliciano Herebia, Jr.'s Obituary
Feliciano Herebia, Jr., 57 years old of Immokalee, Florida passed away while on vacation in Mexico. Mr. Herebia was born in Cameron County, Texas to father Feliciano Herebia, Sr. and mother Josefa Gonzales Herebia.
Feliciano worked for almost 20 years at L & M Warehouse & Packing , Inc. where he had many friends from the management team and fellow workers, where he worked in the maintenance departement.
His favorite saying was "one day at a time", which came from his favorite song with the same name. Feliciano will be remembered for many things, but some of the best things that he did was to help others. He would take clothes that were given to him for his use, to the homeless shelter, he would buy a needy person food, help with the serving of others every Thanksgiving. He truly was known to take the shirt off his back to give to someone who needed it more then he did.
There were some things that Feliciano did that were known and joked by all, including his family: He was a "ladies" man all his life, he talked like a sailor, was "hard headed" and as the family in their words stated" he was not the sharpest but not he dullest tool in the shed" . He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Maricela Herebia, children: Cynthia Anderson, Jose Luis Erebia (Amy), Belinda Erebia, Mayra Quintanilla (Marco), Feliciano Erebia III (Riccie), Monica Pena, Martha Cantu (Rogelio), Oscar Pena and Anallely Garcia. Siblings; Manuela Aguilar, Susana Villegas, Edith Narvaez, Rosa Cruz, Jose Luis Erebia, Josefa Gomez, Juan Luis Erebia and Rolando Erebia. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Maria Venegas and Linda Gomez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6-8 pm at First Baptist Church, Immokalee and again Saturday October 17, 2015 from 4-6 pm at the same church. The family has requested cremation following these services.
