Felicita Hernandez Santiago  79,  was call to Heaven April 16, 2014.

Mrs. Santiago was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico on November 24, 1934 to father Alfonso Hernandez and mother Antonia Ryes Hernandez.

She will be remembered for many things, but everyone knew her love of being in county living-she loved nature, and the enjoyment she received from cooking.  She loved working also. Felicita worked many many years for the Collier County School System, at the Immokalee Middle School, where she was the manager of the school cafeteria. Even though she didn't have to,  she then would go to 6-L's packing house and work into the night.  She was a very religous woman who carried verse's of the Bible in her purse.

She is survived by son: Jose Santiago (Jan), daughter Ampy Santiago, five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchidren.

Visitation will be held Brister Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday April 23, 2014 from 11:00 to 12:00 pm. The Funeral Service will then begin at the same chapel starting at  12:00 pm.
