Felipe B. Salinas' Obituary
Felipe Salinas, 70 years old of Immokalee, passed away at Avow Hospice of Naples, in the early hours of Friday, May 16, 2014.
Mr. Salinas was born in Brownsville, Texas Janaury 21, 1944 to father Juan Salinas and mother Trinidad Buitron Salinas.
Felipe married the love of his life, Maria Esparza Salinas, Aprl 25, 1962 in Naples, Florida. They were together for over 51 years.
He worked for over 23 years for Jack Queen Construction, then worked for himself over 10 years. He will be remembered for his giving nature.
He loved to volunteer and was known to be a selfless man, he continued to give and give in all areas of his life.
He will be greatly missed by many, including his beloved wife: Maria E. Salinas, (4) children; Santos Salinas (Ann), Elida Sapere (Steve), Lisa Gasperson (Donald)
and Felipe Salinas, Jr. (Maria Sierra). Nine grandchildren, One great grandaughter, (2) brothers; Juan Salinas and Victor Salinas, (2) sisters; Manuela Gonzalez and Elida Blaz
along with many nieces, newphews and friends. He was preceded in death by (1) brother: Manuel Salinas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Immokalee from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 also at the church
beginning at 11:00 am with Pastor Antonio Acevedo from Iglesia Bautista DeJesus Cristo and Pastor Dennis Norvell from Felda Baptist Church officiating. Per the family request, cremation will
then be dispostion of Mr. Salinas.
