Flora "Tootsie" Irene Hoffman, 72, of Palmdale, Florida, passed away suddenly on June 25, 2019 at AdventHealth of Sebring. Mrs. Hoffman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 3, 1946. This is where she grew up and eventually met the love of her life. Four years after meeting, they were married in Kansas. They spent the next 45 years of marriage in multiple states such as Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee, but finally settling back down in Florida.
Flora was a faithful Christian with a very compassionate heart. She enjoyed activities with her church, reading her bible, and sewing. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. After retiring from the healthcare field, what she cherished most was spending time with her family. While she had many titles throughout her life, the one she held of highest importance was being called Granny by her grandbabies.
There are many who mourn her loss including her husband, George Ronald Hoffman; her daughter, Crystal Bogenrief; her grandchildren, Riley and Jaidyn Bogenrief; and multiple siblings including her sister and best friend Linda Loudermilk.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, and her step-son.
There will be a small memorial service in August at her church.
