Floyd W. Singer's Obituary
Floyd W. Singer was called to the Lord March 1, 2011.
Mr. Singer was born in Bremen, Ohio to father Carl Singer and mother Edna Shumaker Singer on October 15, 1926. He was a proud member of both the United States Navy and was a pilot in the United States Air Force.
He married Dorothy Tucker Singer in Naples, Florida over 41 years ago. He and Dorothy owned and operated Singer's Paint Store in Naples for many years.
They then "retired" to Immokalee, Florida where they became caretakers of their daughter Karen Hendry's (Bruce) ranch for 15 years before moving to Lehigh Acres.
Mr. Singer is survived by his wife Dorothy Singer, step- daughter Karen (Bruce) Hendry, step-son Gary (Mary Jane) Mackey 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brothers Donald (Priscilla)Singer, Wayne(Barbara)Singer and sister Dorothy. He was preceded in death by six siblings; George, Willie, Bula, Pauline, Mable, and Bernice.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday March 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at The Baptist Cemetery, Immokalee, Florida.
