Francisco G. Nunez, Sr.'s Obituary
Francisco G. Nunez Sr., 73 of Immokalee, was called into the Lord's open arms February 15, 2017.
Mr. Nunez was born in Alamo, Texas to father Pedro Nunez and mother Paula Gonzalez Nunez June 3rd, 1943. He married his beloved wife Aurora Contrears and raised his family to be hard working, loving and a devoted family. He loved being on the go, always going for car rides, going to see family and friends and he loved most of all to eat out, he was not a man to just sit home. Francisco enjoyed watching old western movies listening to country western music like George Jones and he liked the "farm life".
Francisco is survived by his loving wife Aurora Nunez, (3) daughters: Maricela Nunez Maribel Herrera and Melva Nunez; (1) son: Francisco G. Nunez, Jr., 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; (2) brothers: Raul and Pedro Nunez;(2) sisters: Chela Perez and Julia McGhee. He was preceded in death by Guadalupe Warden, Gilbert, Luis and Santiago Nunez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, February 18, 2017 beginning at 11:00 am at Ava Maria Parish Church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
