We are saddened to announce the passing of Genaro Mancha Sr., 62 of Lehigh Acres and Immokalee.

Genaro was born in Uvalde, Texas to father Marcos Mancha and mother Isabel Gomez Mancha on November 30, 1959. He worked as a carpenter, mostly building homes, but when not working the thing he loved best was spending time with his family! He was a great father and grandfather. He also enjoyed fishing, going crabbing and hunting, shooting pool, playing cards along with dominoes and most of these hobbies he did with family and friends.

There are many to mourn his passing, including daughter Kristy Mancha, 3 sons: Armando Mancha, Genaro Mancha Jr. and Henry Mancha, 22 grandchildren along with extended family and friends.

There will be calling hours on Friday July 8, 2022 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:45pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 also at Brister Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow the service at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
