Gloria J Catala's Obituary
Gloria J. Catala 70 years old of Clewiston, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Catala was born in Jacksonville, Florida to father Leston Moody and mother Ethridge Harrison Moody on October 11, 1944.
She met Julio in Clewiston and after 3 years of dating they were married, also in Clewiston and this April it would have been 52 years of marriage.
Earlier in her life she worked in real estate doing administration. Gloria loved fresh water fishing-she was known to throw a line on any bank of a canal that looked promising to her. She also enjoyed horses, listening to country music and flowers.
Gloria is survived by her husband Julio Catala, son; Raymond Catala (Sarah), daughter; Melonie Reagan , two grandchildren; Dusty and Aaron Catala, 1 sister; Joyce Pridgen (Douglas) 3 brother-in laws, 2 sister-in-laws, along with 1 nephew; Keith Pridgen and extended family.
On December 15, 2014 there will be a short Remembrance Gathering at Julio and Gloria's house. Close friends are invited to come and go between 1-3:00 pm.
