Guadalupe Montez, 64 of Immokalee, Florida passed away March 1, 2011.

Mr. Montez was born in San Benito, Texas to father Genaro Montez and mother Francisca Silva Montez. He married Ismelda Muniz Montez and he drove tractors in the agriculture fields around Immokalee.

Guadalupe will be remember for his love of dancing to James Brown, Smokey Robinson and all the greats of 50's 60's and 70's.
He also enjoyed fishing and beer.

Guadalupe Montez is survived by wife: Ismelda Montez, three daughters; Elizabeth Muniz, IrmaLinda Montez and Ida Montez. Two sons; Jorge Muniz and Guadalupe Montez, Jr., along with
eleven (11) grandchildren, his mother Francisca Silva Montez, six sisters; Olga, Rosemary, Dolores, Irma, Manuela and Ramona along with two brothers; Genaro, and Jose any many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Brister Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 4, 2011 beginning at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Cremation will follow.
