Guadalupe Sanchez, 97 of Immokalee was called to Heaven October 24, 2010.

Mrs. Sanchez was born in Sanluis, Mexico to Tivurcio Arviso and Julia Duran Arviso.

Everyone will remember her for riding her bike around town, her love of gardening and being with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Reyes Sanchez who passed in 1946, and son Lucio Sanchez.

Guadalupe is survived by her loving family of two sons;Jacinto (Mercedes) Sanchez of Immokalee, FL and Isidro Sanchez of California, and grandchildren; Guadalupe Sanchez of St. Louis, MO, Reyes Sanchez of Macon, GA, Gregorio Sanchez and Gloria Sanchez both of Immokalee, FL, Gerardo Sanchez of Austin, TX, Leticia Merricks,and Marta Massey of Naples, FL, Mercedes Van Woerkom of St Petersbury, FL, Thelma Guerra, Belinda Sanchez, Sandra Cabazos, and Lucio Sanchez Jr. all from Texas, Homer Sanchez, Hendry Sanchez, Lloyd Sanchez of California. Twenty-four (24) great-grandchildren, twelve (12) great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 27, 2010 at Brister Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Thursday October 28, 2010 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL.
