Hector Zarate Garza, 78, of Immokalee Florida, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2025, in Hospice care with his family by his side. He was born in Mexico on March 6, 1947, to Mario Zarate and Consuelo Garza. He was said to enjoy fishing, baseball, painting and the casino. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind to cherish the memories his wife, Alma Martinez Zarate, children, Nora Zarate, Veronica Zarate, Mario Zarate and Hector Zarate Jr., along with fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing On Monday July 21, 2025, at Brister Funeral Home chapel from 6-8pm and a funeral service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Tuesday July 22, 2025, at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
