Henry Gomez 58 of Felda, passed away May 5, 2014 at his home surrounded by his devoted family.

Mr. Gomez was born in Immokalee, Florida to father Henry L. Gomez and mother Ofelia Gomez on April 20, 1956.

He was self employed at the his famly business, Gomez Harvesting. He married his wife Tammy (Kittles) Gomez February 2, 1991 which was over 23 years of marriage before his passing.

Henry loved his family--he enjoyed being surrounded by the many women in his family who loved to "baby" him. He enjoyed fishing, watching Hurrican games and the Rays play.  His favorite music were songs by Berry White and the Eagles.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing many family and friends, including his wife: Tammy Gomez, (2) daughters; Amiee P. Gomez and Eleisia A. Gomez, (1) son; Henry Gomez IV, mother Ofelia Gomez, (2) grandchildren; Brad Gomez and Reymar Navarro, Jr. (5) sisters; Anita Mendieta (Jose), Annette Velasco, Ada Ash (Thumper), Adele Trevino, and Adriana Gomez.  Many nieces and nephews and mother-in-law JoAnn Chargois.

The Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens, Immokalee, FL beginning at 10:00 am with Father Fred from St. Elizabeth Catholic Church of Golden Gate officiating.
