Howard M. Skipper, 71 of Immokalee passed away June 21, 2010 surrounded by family. Mr. Skipper was born in Sebring, FL to William Mabary Skipper and Mildred Washington Skipper. He spend over 21 years as a pround member of the United States Navy before retiring.

Mr. Skipper married Betty Quesinberry February 4, 1979. He moved to Georgia for approximatley 15 years before moving back to Immokalee, as Immokalee was always "home".

He loved boating and classical music.

Howard is survived by son Dean Quesinberry (Angela) of Cape Coral, FL, daughter Sharon Turrubiater (Rudy) of Immokalee, grandchildren: Sissy, Tiffany, Kenny, Cody, Amy, Dean Jr. and Melissa, six great grandchildren, two sisters; Ina (Tootsie) Johnson (Karol)of Virginia and Golda Synder (Howard) of Immokalee. Mr. Skipper was preceded in death by his wife Betty Quesinberry Skipper 2004 and brother Sid Skipper 2008.

Visitaiton will be held Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Brister Funeral Home, Immokalee from 6-8pm. A funeral service will be at Graveside at the Immokalee Baptist Cemetery, Friday June 25, 2010 at 10:00 am.
