Iganacio Abrigo, Sr., 85, passed away at his daughters home in Bainbridge Georgia on August 18, 2018 following a long illness.

Mr. Abrigo was born in the small town of Bluntzner, Nueces County, Texas to father Jesus Abrigo and mother Maria Saiz Abrigo.
He enjoyed playing baseball with his family and watching football. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He knew the names and stats
of all the players. He enjoyed music, was a huge sports fan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children; Robert Velasco(Elida), Jesus Abrigo(Benita), Maria Carmen Garcia(Adolf), Guadalupe Garcia(Gilberto),
Mary Ann Rosales(Rene), Amparo Abrigo(Santos Rodriguez), and Juanita Leija(Hipolito) along with over Fifty grandchildren and many,many great grandchildren.


He is preceded by his wife Carmen Velasco-Abrigo, sons Ignacio Abrigo and Rosario Abrigo Sr., and his brothers Jesus and Cruz Abrigo.

A viewing will be held Thursday August 23, 2018 at Brister Funeral Home chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral will be Friday August 24, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
