Irene Curiel 65 was called into the Lords arms November 13, 2016.

Irene was born in Texas to father Marcelo Estrada and mother Marcia Guerrero Estrada.

She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and worked as a house keeper and she fought a great fight during her illness. She married the love her life Andres and enjoyed many happy years together until his passing October 10, 2010.  Irene was the happiest being a mother and grandmother, and being with her extended family and friends.

Irene is survived by her loving family including son: Andres Curiel III, daughters: Susanna Curiel and Rachel Curiel, seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband Andres Curiel in 2010.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 6-8:00 pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
