Jack D. Allen, 84 of Immokalee, FL was called through Heaven's Gate October 18, 2012 after a great battle. Mr. Allen was born in Okeechobee, Florida  November 22, 1927 to father Myrton Allen, Sr. and mother Evelyn Goff Allen.He married the love of his life, Mary Lu Hey, February 9, 1946 in Albuqueque, New Mexico.  He also was a pround member of the Navy.

He will be remembered for many things including his love of his family, golfing, fishing and playing card games.  He was also a long standing member of Friendship Baptist Church, Immokalee, FL.

He leaves behind to mourn his loss, his loving wife Mary Lu (Hey) Allen,son Jack Douglas Allen, Jr.,  daughters; Alice Dozier and Ruthie Christmas (Ed),  five grandchildren, six great grandchildren  and sister Billie Ruth Gibson (Bill).

There will be a Visitation Monday October 22, 2012 at 10:00  am at Friendship Baptist Church.  The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am also at the church.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
