On Friday, April 7th, 2023, James Dale Moore, loving husband, step-father of three and step-grandfather of six children, passed away at age 67.

Jim was born on November 23rd, 1955 in Peoria, IL to Herman and Shirley (Bennett) Moore. He attended a trade school for his HVAC specialty in his early 20s where he utilized his skills at Page Mechanical for over 30 years. On November 24th, 1994, he married Amy Cara Letheby-Wagner. They raised two sons, Travis and Nathan, and one daughter, Cassandra.

Jim had many skills including mechanics and electronics. He also loved to go fishing and play music. He was always busy around the house tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. He had an affinity for computers. Jim was always known to have tools in his hands improving his homestead. He loved to grill and smoke on his big green egg. His favorite foods to smoke were roasts and chicken. He made a mean steak on the grill. There was always a meal on the table.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Herman, and his mother, Shirley, as well as his brother, Randy. He is survived by his wife Amy, his three children, Travis, Casey and Nathan, their spouses Laura Bayona and Dale Foss, grandchildren Rivers, Bohdi and Jett, his brothers Dennis, Dave and Chris and his sister Gina Davis. A memorial service will be held in private at the family's discretion.
